Moscow airports are operating as normal after massive UAV attacks

Moscow airports Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo are operating normally after morning restrictions, reported TASS with reference to airport press services. Previously, the Ministry of Defense reported at least 20 UAVs shot down on the night and morning of November 26.
According to TASS, in Vnukovo restrictions on the arrival and release of aircraft were introduced at 5:03 Moscow time and lifted at 6:33 Moscow time. In Domodedovo, restrictions were introduced from 5:34 to 6:30 Moscow time. At Zhukovsky airport, restrictions were introduced from 5:30 to 6:30 Moscow time, but they did not affect the flight schedule. The press service of Sheremetyevo TASS did not report any restrictions, but stated that the airport was operating normally.
RIA Novosti, citing the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency, reported that the planes did not go to alternate airfields during the restrictions.
According to the Ministry of Defense, on the night of today, November 26, until the early morning, a total of 20 drones were shot down over the Moscow, Tula, Kaluga and Bryansk regions. Due to UAV attacks at the capital’s airports, 13 flights were delayed and 3 more were cancelled.
Later, the Ministry of Defense reported about four more UAVs over the Bryansk, Smolensk and Tula regions; they were destroyed at 9:30 Moscow time. At 10:06 Moscow time, Governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin reported that air defense and electronic warfare forces suppressed the UAV attack. At about 8:55 Moscow time, the head of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced the destruction of the UAV over the Bryansk region.
