More than half a million devices: the capital’s developer of communication channel security tools celebrates its 20th anniversary

Since its founding, the Moscow company for the production of network security products has produced more than 500 thousand units of equipment. The company recently celebrated its 20th anniversary.
“For 20 years now, the Moscow company S-Terra CSP has been developing and producing scientific and technical products to protect communication channels – software, software and hardware systems with data encryption, firewalls and intrusion detection tools,” said the Moscow government minister, head Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.
He added that during its existence the company has manufactured over half a million units of products, which are in demand both in government and commercial organizations that have a high need to protect confidential information.
The company’s developments are included in the Unified Register of Russian Computer Programs and Databases. The company is one of the three leading domestic manufacturers of certified cryptographic data protection products.
The company’s product range includes both a super-powerful gateway for protecting channels between data centers and a miniature crypto gateway.
According to the company’s general director, Mikhail Ivanov, security devices are valued by users for their reliability and ease of use. Russian enterprises are offered a wide range of solutions with encryption performance from 5 to 100 thousand Mbit/sec.
