More than five thousand people came to the start of the “Cross of the Nation” in St. Petersburg

The All-Russian day of running “Cross of the Nation” was held in St. Petersburg on September 17. He gathered several thousand participants at the Gazprom Arena.
The running distance was five kilometers. Athletes ran along the South Road, Tennis Alley, North Road to the North Alley, and then returned to the stadium.
In total, more than five thousand people have overcome this path, Anton Shantyr, chairman of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, said on his page on the VKontakte social network.
All participants of the race received awards – they were awarded medals at the finish line. The awarding of winners and prize-winners took place in all categories, including people with visual impairments, with lesions of the musculoskeletal system and with intellectual disabilities.
