More than a thousand Pskov residents took to the start of the “Russian Ski Track”

More than a thousand Pskov residents are preparing to become private participants in the 42nd All-Russian Ski Track of Russia competitions, which took place in the Ostrovsky district today, February 10, the press service of the Pskov region government told MK in Pskov.
This year, for the first time, participants could submit documents to participate in competitions through the public services service. 750 people registered electronically, and another 300 athletes registered in person on the Island.
Participants had to cover three distances: 2024 meters for children and a charity race, 5 km for boys and girls, and 10 km for men and women.
Let us remind you that this year, as part of the Year of the Family, a special nomination was introduced – “The Whole Family”. The largest number of families at the starting line competed for the award.
As of February 9, the largest family of participants consisted of 5 people – mother, father and three children.
Organizers are the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Russian Ski Racing Federation, the Federal State Institution “Management of Sports Competitions”, from the region – the Sports Committee of the Pskov Region, the regional Ski Racing Federation.
