More than 800 thousand Russians received the right to defer partial mobilization

834,224 Russians received the right to a deferment from partial mobilization, according to the annual collection of the Russian Ministry of Defense “Army in Figures” 2023. The publication has reviewed the document RBC.
Almost a third (30.7%) of those who received a deferment from partial mobilization work in the IT sector – 256 thousand people. The number of employees in the banking sector with a deferment is 170 thousand people (20.4%), energy companies – 103.1 thousand (12.4%), from the agricultural sector – 54.5 thousand (6.5%), media representatives – 43.7 thousand (5.2%). From other areas of activity, another 206.9 thousand citizens (24.8%) received a deferment.
Earlier it became known that contract service in the Russian army pass more than 640 thousand people. As part of the partial mobilization called 302.5 thousand Russians.
