More than 50 flights were delayed and canceled at Moscow airports due to snowfall

At Moscow airports, 53 flights were canceled and delayed due to snowfall. On the night of November 24, as leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Evgeny Tishkovets told RIA Novosti, about 40% of the ten-day climate norm for November fell.
At Sheremetyevo airport, 14 flights took off late, and 2 more were cancelled, according to the electronic display. At Vnukovo airport, 11 flights were delayed and 5 were cancelled. 16 flights to Domodedovo were delayed and 5 were cancelled.
Previously Hydrometeorological Center reported about a record drop in atmospheric pressure in 50 years—719.2 mmHg. According to the head of the center, Roman Vilfand, Moscow was covered by a deep cyclone, which brought low pressure and precipitation.
