More than 47 thousand cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia per day

Over the past day, 47,093 cases of coronavirus have been detected in Russia. This is 1.38% more than the day before (46,452). 90 people died, which is 9 more than yesterday (81). 4,354 people were hospitalized, which is 11.3% more than the day before (3912).
Regions leading by the number of infections:
- Moscow – 6915 cases (total – 3,004,574),
- St. Petersburg – 4214 (1 643 570),
- Moscow region – 2995 (1,049,595),
- Krasnodar Territory – 1703 (287 693),
- Nizhny Novgorod region – 482 (439,213).
Most deaths were recorded in Moscow (35 cases) and St. Petersburg (20).
Against the backdrop of an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in Russia, Rospotrebnadzor advised the return of the mask regime in regions where the incidence exceeds 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Now the advisory mask regime operates in six regions of Russia – Tatarstan, Dagestan, Gorny Altai, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Vologda and Novosibirsk regions.
