The bailiffs received more than 46 thousand applications from mobilized citizens to suspend the collection of debts from them. This was announced by the director of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP) Dmitry Aristov. According to him, more than 107,000 enforcement proceedings have already been suspended.
He clarified that applications from mobilized people who have already left their place of residence can be transmitted through training centers, commanders of military units or relatives. Family members of the debtor also have the opportunity to write an application for the suspension of debt collection. “Our employees are in military registration and enlistment offices, at recruiting stations, so that debtors can quickly apply for the suspension of enforcement proceedings,” Mr. Aristov said in an interview with TASS.
September 28 State Duma accepted law on credit holidays for mobilized citizens and members of their families. Initially, the law concerned those who were called up as part of the mobilization, but then its effect distributed on volunteers. FSSP from the end of September suspended collection of debts from the mobilized. This does not apply to child support payments.
