About half the population of the Dagestan city of Buynaksk was left without water due to a utility accident. TASS reports this with reference to the city administration.
The accident at the Chirkei-Buinaksk central water pipeline left more than 30 thousand people without water. The repair work is planned to be completed on November 15 at 18:00.
The population of Buinaksk is about 65 thousand people. The shutdown affected 30,805 people, including 10,850 children.
Water supply was organized for city residents using 10 units of equipment, the administration noted.
