More than 280 children of Donbass were treated in leading medical clinics in Moscow

Moscow doctors provide children from the DPR and LPR with highly qualified medical care. Children are delivered to clinics by special transport, including air ambulance. This allows you to start surgical treatment within a day after the injury. The high speed of surgical intervention contributed to the fact that none of the patients of the Institute had complications associated with suppuration of wounds. Amputations were also not performed.
In addition, Moscow doctors are in touch with doctors from the DPR and LPR, advising them on various issues that arise in the course of their professional activities. A number of doctors from Moscow went to the Donbass republics, where they work as part of multidisciplinary teams in hospitals and hospitals. For example, Moscow doctors from the Research Institute of Emergency Children’s Surgery and Traumatology treat people at the Lugansk Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital, conduct training seminars and conferences at the Lugansk Medical University.
Teams of doctors from Moscow hospitals have been working in the region since July 2022, but cooperation between the Russian capital and Donetsk and Luhansk began much earlier, in 2014. Since July 2022, more than 200 doctors from 30 Moscow medical institutions have worked in the DPR and LPR, who have performed more than 4,000 surgeries and 11,000 consultations.
