More than 200 young athletes participate in the Anna Bogaliy Cup in Yakutia

Athletes from 17 regions of Russia take part in the All-Russian biathlon competitions “Anna Bogaliy Cup – Skimir”, which are held in Yakutia. They will start on April 11 and will last until April 17 at the ski and biathlon complex in the city of Aldan.
Yakutia will be represented by the largest team – 133 young biathletes, athletes of the “Biathlon” department of the Republican Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in skiing.
On Monday, April 10, a meeting of Anna Ivanovna Bogaliy was held in the ski and biathlon complex in the city of Aldan.
Within the framework of the competition, scientific and methodological seminars, master classes by leading Russian specialists, coaches and athletes of the national team will be held. Sports psychologists will conduct motivational trainings for the participants of the competition.
Guests will be introduced to the national culture of the peoples of the Far North, excursions and hospitality ceremonies will be held for them.
For spectators and fans at the stadium there will be draws of prizes and gifts, dance flash mobs, as well as reindeer sleigh rides.
Anna Bogaliy is a legend of world biathlon, member of the board of the Russian Biathlon Union, president of the NGO “SDYuBR”, two-time Olympic champion, Honored Master of Sports of Russia.
