More than 200 thousand spectators visited the New Year’s ice show “300 Years of Perm”

From January 3 to 5 in Perm, at the main skating rink near the Theater-Theater, a series of demonstration performances by famous Russian figure skaters and rising stars of Perm sports took place.

The New Year’s family show “300 years of Perm” was opened by the head of the Kama region Dmitry Makhonin. The governor thanked the organizers and participants: “It’s great that we are starting the anniversary year for Perm in the right way – with bright events, in the capital of our native land, together with family and loved ones. We would like everyone to remember these and subsequent events for a long time. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the organizers and participants.”

The show was opened by the program of Permian Taisiya Shcherbinina, a candidate for master of sports, a member of the Russian national team. Also on the ice were the pairs of Polina Neganova and Roman Fedotov, Anna Soboleva and Matvey Churakov – candidates for master of sports, winners of the Cup of the head of Perm, participants in the stages of the Russian Grand Prix in figure skating last year. Permian Victoria Fedyanina, master of sports, winner of all-Russian competitions, participant of the Russian championship, also performed. Recall that recently the sixth stage of the Grand Prix series in figure skating took place in Perm, and the representative of the Perm school, 15-year-old Victoria Fedyanina, entered the top five best figure skaters in the country.

Demonstration performances were presented by Olympic champions Tatyana Totmyanina, Maxim Marinin, Alexei Yagudin. The figure skaters performed to the Saber Dance, which composer Aram Khachaturian wrote in Perm, as well as to the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

“It is a great honor for us to host legendary figure skaters in Perm – Alexei Yagudin, our compatriot Tatyana Totmyanina, Maxim Marinin, special thanks for the production to Ilya Averbukh, the young athletes also made everyone happy,” Dmitry Makhonin emphasized. “The spectators who came once again showed how we love figure skating.”

The director of the show “300 Years of Perm” Ilya Averbukh expressed his gratitude to the head of the Kama region: “It was his initiative so that everyone could see here, in Perm, both Olympic champions and their fellow countrymen.”

The show was broadcast in the Perm-300. Everything is real!”. Five performances together collected more than 185 thousand views. Almost ten thousand spectators watched the performances at the rink itself, of which five thousand were in the stands.
