More than 200 athletes came to Pushchino for judo competitions

The “Memory” judo tournament in Pushchino was organized by the city branch of the All-Russian public organization of veterans “Combat Brotherhood” with the support of the Oka Sports Palace. This event became a bright memorable event that united young judokas and veterans of the sport.
The competition was dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Russians who performed their official duties outside the Fatherland and the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.
More than 200 athletes from different cities of the Southern Moscow region, as well as Tula, Ryazan, Kaluga region took part in the competition, which emphasizes the attractiveness and authority of the tournament in the sports environment.
Young judokas, ranging in age from 11 to 17 years old, competed for medals on the mat, demonstrating not only their athletic skills, but also their respect for the tournament’s theme.
Combat veterans, being honorary guests of the competition, made their special contribution to the atmosphere of respect and memory of heroic deeds.
Three athletes from Pushchino deservedly won medals in their weight categories.
Petr Kristev and Daniil Urvanov took first place, confirming their athletic skills and endurance. Alexander Devyatkin took third place, showing a good result and demonstrating his athletic strength and skill.
These achievements indicate that the sporting potential of youth in Pushchino is developing and thriving, which is a wonderful example for others.
