More than 18 thousand residents of the Vologda region took part in the January decade of sports

In the first ten days of January, about 145 sports events took place in the districts and districts of the Vologda region. More than 18 thousand Vologda residents of different ages took part in them.
So, for young residents of the region, they organized an active holiday “Winter Fun”, competitions “Finky-sledges”, a disco on ice, a Swimming Cup, Bengal races and much more. Representatives of the older generation overcame the “Merry Starts” and made skiing and hiking.
It should be noted that the Decade of Sports is held in the country every year during the New Year holidays. Vologda residents, like many compatriots, are also its initiative participants. During this period, hockey, figure skating, cross-country skiing, mini-football, basketball and other sports are especially popular among the inhabitants of the region.
