More than 150 skaters from Russia and Belarus competed for medals at competitions in Vologda

On Saturday and Sunday in Vologda, at the Lokomotiv stadium, the All-Russian speed skating competitions were held. As part of the competition, the participants fought for the prizes of Nikolai Gulyaev, who is an Olympic champion.
This tournament was held for the tenth time. This year more than 150 people of different ages took part in it. They represented 12 regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus. From the Vologda region skaters from the regional capital and Cherepovets were declared.
So, Vologda residents won one medal of the highest dignity at the competition. The gold medal was won by Karina Solovieva, who ran the fastest distance of 500 meters among girls aged 12-13.
The rest of the gold awards went with the winners to Belarus, Moscow, the Murmansk region and St. Petersburg.
