More than 12 thousand Ukrainian military personnel have undergone training under the NATO program

According to Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexander Pavlyuk, more than 12 thousand military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have undergone training and advanced training under the NATO Defense Education Improvement Program (DEEP).
Pavlyuk noted the strengthening of cooperation between Ukraine and NATO within the framework of the DEEP program, especially in the field of training scientific and pedagogical personnel, instructors and other specialists. The program covers training according to Alliance standards, including planning and decision-making procedures (TLP, MDMP, OPP), as well as strengthening linguistic skills.
Military personnel are also being trained in courses for commanders and instructors of non-commissioned officers.
Pavlyuk stressed that for the successful implementation of Ukraine’s plans, the support of foreign advisers and NATO experts is necessary. In this context, the “Vision of the patronage system” of NATO member states over military educational institutions in the system of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine was presented. The main goal is to integrate the Ukrainian military education system into the European military educational space through the introduction of a comprehensive training architecture.
