The academy announced the creation of new free groups for 5-6 year olds

According to the heads of the academy, there are now 650 children studying there, but this seems to them not enough for the quality development of football in Khabarovsk, so in the coming years they hope to recruit another 600 – 650 people.

“The infrastructure allows us to accommodate everyone. Plus, we are constantly expanding and building new sports facilities,” emphasized Alexey Popov, director of the Iskra Football Academy.

The infrastructure really allows it, especially since everything has been done at the level of the capital’s football academies. The artificial turf, for example, both at the outdoor stadium and in the academy’s arena is professional, European.

Future champions (as Iskra hopes) will be trained experienced trainers, who previously worked at the football schools of Lokomotiv, Krasnodar, Alania and Chertanovo. The main thing is that they all have a license from the RFU. That is, these are not just people from the street.

Young “academicians” will have to work hard. The training program provides from 12 to 24 lessons per month, depending on age. This is understandable – in order to achieve something in life you need to work and work selflessly.

Once upon a time at Iskra world football stars cameformer Spartak players and Dmitry Alenichev recalled that in childhood, even despite the lack of conditions, he trained, regardless of the clock, selflessly.

“Indeed, we did it on sand, on asphalt. I ate, went into the yard, five to six hours a day. We can say that all life is in football,” he noted then Dmitry Alenichev.

“You have to love football,” his colleague remarked at the same time Andrey Tikhonov. Iskra agrees with this. Actually, that’s why all equipment for students is free, trips both to the Far East and Siberia, and to the west are at the expense of the educational institution. Well, for starters, free trips to entertainment centers, cinemas and swimming pools.

The selection of young football players for new groups will take place this Saturday, September 9 at 11 and 13 o’clock at the stadium of the Iskra Academy. Applicants are required to submit an application to the academy administration, but no football experience is required. There would be a desire.

In just a few years, Khabarovsk may well become the football capital of the Far East, creating a real conveyor belt for training high-class professional players. Then you will see that the dream of some fans will come true, and the basis of SKA will consist of its own, not purchased athletes.
