Poland intends to find a way to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine without permission from Germany. This statement was made by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with PAP.
He also criticized the German authorities for their position with delaying the decision to send Leopards to Kyiv and demanded clarification from Berlin as to whether other countries that have Leopards can provide them to Ukraine.
Morawiecki noted that if Germany does not agree to supply tanks to Ukraine, then Warsaw will create a smaller coalition of states that will be ready to provide heavy military equipment.
At the same time, it should be noted that countries do not have the right to transfer weapons to another state without the permission of the country that produces these weapons.
