The United States and Poland are discussing the possibility of increasing the American military presence in the republic. This was announced by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with CBS television.
“We are in the process of discussing with the Biden administration to make their presence more permanent and to build it up,” Morawiecki said, when asked if there is evidence that America intends to deploy additional forces to Polish territory.
In addition, the Prime Minister of Poland expressed his gratitude to Washington for sending Patriot air defense systems and other systems and ammunition.
Recall that in the coming days, US President Joe Biden is expected to visit Poland, during which he intends to meet with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda and other heads of Eastern European countries.
