Moldova refused to extradite refugees of military age to Ukraine

Moldova has not extradited and does not plan to extradite refugees of military age to Ukraine. This statement was made on Wednesday, November 22, by the head of the press service of the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Igor Zakharov.
The official recalled that Chisinau and Kyiv did not enter into an agreement on the extradition of citizens of military age.
At the same time, Zakharov clarified that until now the Ukrainian authorities have not addressed Moldova with requests for the extradition of refugees of military age.
Ukrainian media wrote that since February 2022, European countries have extradited to Ukraine only 126 citizens who illegally crossed the border and fled the country. All of them were detained during illegal border crossing.
At the same time, in Ukraine itself, due to the fact of evading conscription for mobilization more than eight thousand criminal cases have been initiated. The leaders in this indicator were Transcarpathian, Dnepropetrovsk and Nikolaev regions.
