Moldova has begun the technical stage of accession to the European Union
The Republic of Moldova has begun the technical stage of joining the European Union (EU). This statement was made by Prime Minister for European Integration Kristina Gerasimova.
It is noted that another state institution will be created in the country, which will have to deal with negotiations on accession to the EU – the Bureau of European Integration.
“On February 7, we entered the first stage of technical work on Moldova’s accession to the EU. We have the deepest and closest relations with the EU in the modern history of our country,” Gerasimova said.
At the same time, she emphasized that this stage is a long process that requires not only the efforts of both parties, but also specialized expertise in various fields.
