Mobilized IT-specialist of Raiffeisenbank Timur Izmailov died in the zone of the military operation on October 13. According to the lawyer of the programmer Konstantin Erokhin, he was entitled to a delay. Relatives of the deceased are planning to file a lawsuit against the Ministry of Defense, said Mr. Erokhin RTVI. Timur Izmailov held a key IT position, supported the Mir payment system.

“On Tuesday, information was received that Timur came under mortar fire and died on October 13,” the lawyer wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, on October 7, the programmer ended up in a combat zone. Konstantin Erokhin said that he submitted lists of employees of financial organizations subject to deferment to the General Staff on September 28. However, the military registration and enlistment office stated that they did not receive the lists, and they intend to return the mobilized only in the event of a court decision.

“The logic of the military registration and enlistment office is this: there are no lists – you go to serve. I believe that in such a situation, the military registration and enlistment office should have postponed the mobilization of the employee and clarified through its own channels whether the lists were received by the General Staff, whether they were approved (or under consideration), when the lists were received by them, ”said Mr. Erokhin.

How informed Timur Izmailov’s sister Anna, he was invited to the draft board a few days before the announcement of partial mobilization. There they were handed a summons for training camps, and when they visited the military registration and enlistment office again, they took away a military ID and provided four hours for training camps. On September 22, Timur Izmailov was sent to a military unit in Naro-Fominsk, and from there to the Belgorod region. The sister reported that the military registration and enlistment office refused to consider the documents for her brother’s reservation, because they could not do anything.

September 27 published a list of 195 specialties in the fields of IT and communications, for which a deferment from mobilization is recommended. It was reported that in order to receive a reprieve, it was necessary to “perform critical functions”. October 5 department declaredthat military registration and enlistment offices will soon receive lists of employees who are not subject to conscription.
