The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, said that State Duma deputies proposed to ban the teenage subculture PMC Redan and that her League supported this initiative.
“I also support this decision, since this nationalist movement develops aggression and breaks the psyche of children,” Mizulina said on the social network.
She also statedthat she “began to receive requests from citizens to ban Japanese animations “Anime””: “This genre has a bad effect on children and develops aggressiveness. After that, children begin to hooligan or worse.”
According to her, adolescent fight in the Moscow shopping center “probably happened because of the “Anime””.
“Participants of the Redan nationalist movement, after watching anime, went to beat and kill people,” Mizulina added.
