Missing basketball player Anton Petukhov was found dead three months later
The body of missing 20-year-old basketball player Anton Petukhov was found in the Emelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was reported by the press service of the organization “Search for Missing Children” named after Oksana Vasilishina.
The athlete’s body was discovered this morning near the village of Chastoostrovskoye by specialists from KSKU Spasatel. The police confirmed that this is the body of Anton, who disappeared in the winter.
The young basketball player disappeared in Krasnoyarsk near the river on the night of December 30-31.
Anton is a graduate of Yenisei and CSKA. He played for CSKA from 2020 to 2023. As part of the capital’s club, Petukhov became the champion of the VTB United Youth League (2021) and the champion of the Youth League Championship (2021). Last summer he moved to Barnaul.
