Mishustin: the main target of Western sanctions was the people of Russia

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin arrived at the State Duma, where he announced a report on the work of the Russian government for 2022. Commenting on Western sanctions, Mishustin said that their main target was the Russian people.

According to the prime minister, the West tried to assure that the sanctions were not directed against Russian citizens, but now even those “who are far from global politics” would not believe in this.

According to Mishustin, “they did not disdain any means against Russia.”
