Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the indexation of the minimum wage (minimum wage) by 17% helped save the income of 15 million Russian citizens.
“In a special order, on behalf of the president, the living wage was raised twice – from the first of June last year and from the beginning of January of this year. As a result, it grew by more than 13.5%. The same was true for the minimum wage. It increased by almost 17%. This means that the income of 15 million people was saved,” Mishustin said during a report on the work of the government in the State Duma.
