Mishustin: sanctions will not stop overnight

“We understand that sanctions are not temporary. They won’t stop overnight. Our former partners have gone too far to just pick up and retreat,” he said.

In this regard, the state continues to calculate the risks in order to be ready for any scenario, Mishustin added. According to him, the Russian economy demonstrates stability, although there are industries that have not yet fully restored their business chains.

Why are sanctions imposed? To undermine the economy, harm people, their standard of living, “cancel” Russia, deprive us of the opportunity to choose our own path based on the interests of our own people,” Mishustin said.

In general, the sanctions war is a dead end scenario that slows down world development, the prime minister added.
