The minimum wage in the Russian Federation will increase by 18.5% starting next year, which is significantly higher than inflation. This statement was made by the country’s Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“…From next year, a total of 18.5%, which will significantly outpace the inflation rate,” he said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, where the draft federal budget for 2024 and the planning period for another two years were discussed.
In particular, Mishustin clarified that starting January 1, 2024, the minimum wage will exceed 19,200 rubles.
As the politician concluded, the wages of more than 4.5 million Russians will also increase.
