Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin dismissed the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Neradko from his post. His deputy Dmitry Yadrov was appointed as the new head of the department, reported government press service.
“Dmitry Yadrov became the new head of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation) <...> Alexander Neradko has been relieved of this position,” the statement says.
The Prime Minister’s order on the appointment will be published later.
Alexander Neradko has headed the Federal Air Transport Agency since 2009. Before that, in different years he worked in the Federal Aviation Service and the Federal Air Transport Service. In 2000, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia, and four years later became the head of Rostransnadzor. In 2005, he took over as head of the Federal Air Navigation Service (which was abolished in 2009).
Yadrov went to work for the Federal Air Transport Agency in 2019, where, as deputy head of the department, he coordinated the work of the agency’s structural divisions in the field of organizing the use of air traffic, flight operation and development of airfield infrastructure. While in service, he also supervised key sectoral federal projects, the government noted.
