Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin called the federal budget the main tool for implementing the plans of the country’s authorities.
“The key outcome of last year was the preservation of macroeconomic stability. The main instrument for the implementation of all our plans remains the federal budget,” the Prime Minister said during a report on the work of the Cabinet of Ministers in the State Duma.
He noted that the government has already adjusted the policy in this area. “First of all, they focused it on strengthening financial stability. Reducing the impact of the forced restructuring of economic ties on the medium and long-term potential of the economy,” he concluded.
