Teachers told the Prime Minister where his gold medal went

Mikhail Mishustin visited his beloved teachers during his visit to Lobnya – this year the school where he studied turns 45 years old. During the conversation over a cup of tea, it turned out that the prime minister was a non-standard student – he was seriously looking for a UFO, preparing an explosion and finishing his graduation essay with a fictional poem by Mayakovsky.

The prime minister came to a tea party with his teachers of physics and literature and gave them an evening of reminiscences. He said that he did well in physics, but he liked astronomy more. “Astronomy was more interesting, we were always looking for UFOs, we brought telescopes with friends,” Mishustin said. His teacher, Nina Terentievna Gusak, in turn, recalled how she taught the class of the future prime minister and her other students Newton’s third law, which states that the force of action is equal to the force of reaction: will force my fist. But who will be worse?! “Yes, I remember that,” Mishustin confirmed, laughing.

According to Nina Gusak, teaching physics allowed her to keep a good memory even in her old age. And Mishustin’s visit is to feel his significance. “How can a teacher be insignificant? This is the main profession in the country!” the prime minister replied. Husak also recalled how she disrupted the explosion, which the future head of the Cabinet of Ministers and his friends tried to arrange from improvised materials at a school workshop. “We liked to make fun,” the prime minister confirmed.

As for the literature lessons taught by Larisa Anatolyevna Barasheva, then, according to Mishustin, he went to them like to the theater. I especially remember the lesson dedicated to the work of Tolstoy, when the class was asked to divide into two parts – those who would like to be brought up in the Bolkonsky family, and those who would prefer the Rostov family. Mikhail Mishustin was in the minority – only he and his friend chose the Bolkonsky family, where they taught the exact sciences, in particular geometry. Other classmates wanted to study poetry, music and dance together with Natasha Rostova. “As? Why?” – the prime minister is still perplexed.

“Where would you go? – he suddenly asked the head of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov. But the governor did not have a clear answer. “Don’t know. It all depends on age and state of mind,” he muttered.

According to Mishustin, at the graduation essay, their class came across the topic “Lyrics in Mayakovsky’s poetry.” He didn’t care what to write about – the main thing was to place the punctuation marks correctly. But I wanted to mess around. As a result, the essay ended with the following passage: “The backbone of socialism has been built, the last enemy of the revolution has died out, comrade, so glorify the fatherland the way Vladimir Mayakovsky glorified it.” Mishustin explained that he wrote this quatrain, arguing with a friend that the RONO, where all graduation papers were sent, would not find a catch. And so it happened: in the received review it was said that “the student deeply worked out all the questions of Mayakovsky’s lyrics” and “finished the work with poetic lines of the poet,” Mishustin said, giggling. He received an A for his essay. Larisa Anatolyevna, of course, was in shock. But she did not tell anyone about the trick.

According to the teachers, the prime minister was a strong student in all subjects. They lamented that Mishustin’s gold medal “went to no one knows where.” “She had to be and we know who (hacked her),” the teachers said, hinting that the “four” in chemistry appeared in the certificate of the future head of the Cabinet not by chance. But the prime minister did not delve into school conspiracy theories. “Come on!”, – he nonchalantly waved his hand, making it clear that even without a gold medal, his career was very successful.
