Russian enterprises were able to quickly adapt to new conditions, despite the disruption of cooperation ties and logistics routes, as well as the closure of traditional export markets due to sanctions from unfriendly countries. About it declared Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a regular Cabinet meeting.
According to the prime minister, timely decisions and support measures contributed to adaptation.
Mishustin also cited figures indicating an increase in the pace of output. For example, the manufacturing industry index increased by more than 6% in the first six months of 2023. It is planned that those areas where the largest decline occurred will also enter the “green” zone at the end of the year.
“In terms of vehicles, growth can be about 2%, in the segment of machinery and equipment – about 3.5%, and in the sector of medicines and preparations – almost 8%,” Mishustin said.
August 22 President Vladimir Putin declaredthat Russia, according to the results of 2022, entered the top five largest economies in the world. The head of state noted that the growth rates of the Russian economy and the current budgetary situation are stable and do not bear risks.
