Mishustin announced the growth of budget revenues from non-primary industries

Russia’s budget is becoming more stable, with more and more revenue coming from non-primary sectors, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

At a government meeting on June 27, the issue of the implementation of the federal budget for the first quarter of 2023 was raised. Despite the difficult external conditions, noted Mishustin managed to maintain a significant part of the positive dynamics. The prime minister announced a serious change in the ratio of income sources. According to him, this “testifies to the increasing role of non-primary parts of the economy.”

“As the president emphasized, the real sector, its manufacturing enterprises, trade and services are developing and gaining momentum. The inflow from them increased by more than 10% compared to the same period last year and exceeded 70%. This means that industries that are not related to the extraction of natural resources provide more than two-thirds of income, making the budget more sustainable,” Mishustin emphasized.

In the first three months of this year, the government has given priority to financing the necessary measures to support people and businesses. Mishustin urged to continue spending budget funds as efficiently as possible and ensure the full fulfillment of social obligations to the citizens of the country.
