Newspaper Mirror reported that Western countries need to carefully consider the rearmament of Russian military personnel with the Avangard missile system.
As the authors of the publication specify, missiles fired from the Avangard complex can reach a target at a speed 27 times the speed of sound
“Among other things, a complex with a hypersonic glide unit goes beyond the Earth’s atmosphere before it can hit a large number of targets. Western countries have no means to stop this complex,” notes the Mirror.
Let us recall that it was previously reported that the unit of the Russian Avangard missile system at hypersonic speed is not visible on radars. According to expert Yuri Knutov, Avangard is the only hypersonic unit in the world that can be used at intercontinental range.
