Mironov was re-elected chairman of the Just Russia – For Truth party

Participants of the XII Congress of “A Just Russia – For Truth” (SRZP) re-elected the head of the party, Sergei Mironov. The writer Zakhar Prilepin and the first deputy head of the party faction in the State Duma Gennady Semigin were also re-elected co-chairs of the SRZP. The event was posted on YouTube.
The delegates of the SRZP congress also supported initiative Mr. Mironov not to nominate his own candidate for the presidential elections in 2024, but to support the incumbent President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
Decisions of the congress are made by secret ballot of the participants of the event. The congress was attended by State Duma deputies, members of the Federation Council, heads and representatives of the regional branches of the party, leadership and activists of the youth wing of the SRHR, volunteers, political scientists and cultural figures, according to the description of the broadcast of the event.
It is noted that volunteers, participants in the military operation in Ukraine, as well as war correspondents covering the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, visited the congress as guests of honor.
