The Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation announced the resumption of entry into the register of accreditation of IT companies.
“The Ministry of Digital Development has resumed the accreditation of IT companies,” the Ministry’s Telegram channel said in a statement.
For 15 days, according to the data, 422 applications for inclusion in the register were received. Of these, currently 8 companies have been approved for accreditation, three have been denied. The reason for the refusal may be, for example, the lack of salary payments, as well as zero revenue for the year.
On August 1, the Ministry of Digital Development announced that more than 400 companies were excluded from the register, for which the activity in the IT industry is not the main one. The filing of applications was also suspended until a new procedure for accreditation was adopted, which is associated with amendments to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation.
On October 1, the Government of the Russian Federation approved a new regulation on state accreditation of Russian companies operating in the field of information technology.
