Mintsifra: the register of persons liable for military service will be launched no earlier than the autumn draft

The register of military registration in full will be launched before the start of the autumn draft. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev in one of the Telegram chats of the IT industry.

“The exact timing of the launch of the registry will be determined after the adoption of the law, but, most likely, it will not be possible to launch it in full until the start of the next autumn conscription,” he wrote (cit. according to RIA Novosti).

Shadayev also noted that through the State Services portal, those liable for military service will be able to find out if they have the right to deferment, as well as see the address of the military registration and enlistment office where they are registered. With the help of the State Services, persons liable for military service will be able to apply for the correction of errors.

The day before, April 11, the State Duma accepted in the second and third readings of the amendments on the creation of a unified register of persons liable for military service, electronic subpoenas and new restrictions for non-appearance of them in the military registration and enlistment office. 394 deputies voted “for”, one of 450 abstained. Already on April 12, the law will be considered by the Federation Council, after which it will go to the president for signature.

As Andrey Kartapolov, chairman of the Duma Committee on Defense, specified earlier, the electronic summons will be considered received from the moment it is posted in the personal account on the “Gosuslugakh” of a person liable for military service. At the same time, if the summons is not considered served in one of the possible ways, including in paper form under the signature and through the employer, then the summons “is considered served upon the expiration of seven days from the date of its placement in the register of summonses,” the document says.

At the same time, according to the amendments, from the moment of receipt of the summons and until the appearance in the military enlistment office, citizens can’t leave Russia. Also, in case of non-appearance, a ban on state registration as an individual entrepreneur, deprivation of the ability to drive a vehicle, conclude real estate transactions, etc. may threaten. For the current spring call for amendments to apply will not.
