Mintsifra proposes to simplify obtaining Fan ID for children and pensioners

The Ministry of Digital Development proposes to allow children under 14 years of age to undergo identification to attend matches of the Russian Premier League (RPL) without visiting the MFC, and allow pensioners and the disabled to play games without a queue. This is stated in the draft resolution prepared by the Ministry, it is published on portal regulations.
According to the explanatory note, children under 14 years of age will be able to identify themselves to obtain a fan ID (Fan ID) remotely using the State Services portal. The Ministry of Digital Transformation will have the right to check their data using state information systems. Persons with disabilities will be able to be identified with the help of persons responsible for sending group applications for Fan ID.
The Fan ID law came into force on July 1, 2022, and has been extended to all Premier League matches since December. Against the backdrop of the widespread introduction of the fan identification system, starting from the spring part of the RPL tournament, the number of spectators in the stands decreased. In March, President Vladimir Putin instructed by May 1, take measures to simplify the use of Fan ID. In April RPL reportedthat sent suggestions to improve the work of the fan card.
