Maksut Shadayev, the head of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, said that the ministry opposes draconian measures against Russian IT specialists who have gone abroad.
“We are against draconian measures against employees who have left,” Shadayev said at a plenary session of the CNews Forum 2022 conference on Tuesday.
According to him, it is necessary “to create conditions for them to want to return and work in Russia.” And in this topic, as the minister noted, “there should be no restrictions.”
Shadayev said: “We are not specifically asking for any action against those employees who have left and continue to work.”
According to him, the task is to “develop a reverse relocation program and actually show that you can safely continue to work here.”
At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Digital Development noted that companies should independently decide whether their employees can work from abroad, and whether it is possible to provide them with access to key systems in terms of security.
