The head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev, denied information about the leakage of data from the database of the Unified Identification and Authentication System (the account on the State Services is identical to the account in the ESIA).
According to him, we are talking about an old Russian Post data leak. Earlier today, information appeared in Telegram channels that hackers from CAS and the DumpForums forum allegedly gained access to 1 million records from the database. In particular, the channel “Information Leaks” wrote about this. It was noted that the full name, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and other data were in the public domain.
“This is again the base of the Russian Post. This is the leak that is being filed under this guise for the fourth time, ”Shadayev emphasized (quote according to TASS).
Earlier, information about the allegedly leaked personal data of Gosuslug users appeared in Telegram channels in early December. Then in the company-administrator of the portal “Rostelecom» these messages refutedcalling them fake. Also, the data leakage of Gosuslug users allegedly happened in October. The Ministry of Digital Development also rejected these messages.
The data leak from the Russian Post database occurred in July 2022. The company clarified that banking data was not publicly available. It was noted that nothing threatens the safety and reputation of customers.
