Mintsifra denied data leakage of users of public services

The Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media denied information about the data leakage of users of public services. Such news appeared on the Information Leaks channel, which emphasized that, according to scammers, the leaked data base refers to the State Services portal.
The department said that the database, which was made publicly available with a file of 5,000 records, is a database of one of the external services that uses simplified user identification through the State Services portal.
The leaked data contained information that was collected between December 2015 and the end of January 2021. The published data included usernames, email addresses, as well as phone numbers, SNILS, passport details and other confidential information.
