The Ministry of Digital Development and Roskomnadzor do not plan on their own to prevent the publication in the media of information about the supply of gadgets for parallel imports. At the same time, if the sellers of such electronics consider such publications to be information of limited access, they can apply to the police and the FSB with statements. This follows from the response letters from the Ministry of Digital Digital and Roskomnadzor to the Russian Association of Trading Companies and Manufacturers of Electrical Household and Computer Equipment (RATEK), which includes M.Video-Eldorado, DNS, Yandex.Market, Marvel Distribution, etc. .
The content of Roskomnadzor’s letter to Vedomosti was confirmed by its representative. “For the disclosure of information with restricted access for its distributors, administrative liability is provided in accordance with Art. 13.14 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (disclosure of restricted information. – Vedomosti). Police and FSB officials (within their competence) are vested with the authority to draw up protocols for such offenses,” he told Vedomosti. The interlocutor emphasized that Roskomnadzor does not provide regulatory functions for these violations.
