“The draft resolution for persons using means of individual mobility for transportation provides for a ban on crossing the road at pedestrian crossings, including unregulated ones,” the Ministry of Transport said in response to a request from Sultan Khamzaev.
According to the government, this measure will create a safe environment in the area of pedestrian crossings. The draft resolution has already been approved by the subcommittee on improving the control and licensing functions of federal executive bodies under the government. The document is being prepared for submission to the government.
Earlier, Kommersant reported that it submitted the final version of the certification rules for electric scooters, unicycles and other electric means of individual mobility (ESIM) to the Research Automobile and Automotive Institute (NAMI). According to the document, electric scooters will have to pre-install a speed limiter of up to 25 km / h.
