Ministry of Internal Affairs demands to arrest in absentia the head of “Atompromrusers” in the case of fraud

Investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs asked the Tverskoy Court of Moscow to arrest in absentia the CEO of the Atompromresursy group, Andrei Cherkasenko, against whom a criminal case was initiated on fraud on an especially large scale (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Andrei Cherkasenko fled from the investigation, he was declared an international wanted list. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the court.
Atompromresursy is a private company in the nuclear industry, founded in 1995. It cooperates with the largest enterprises of the Russian nuclear industry. Andrey Cherkasenko from 2000 to 2001 was Deputy General Director for Investments of the Siberian Chemical Plant. Now he is a member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
