German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht in an interview with a newspaper Rheinische Post stated that the fall of a Ukrainian missile in Poland exposed gaps in the European air defense system.
According to her, at the moment Germany is facing serious problems after the economy of the last decades.
“We have to get better in many areas. For example, in the field of air defense. There are gaps in Europe,” Lambrecht said.
She clarified that representatives of the German Ministry of Defense offered Poland Patriot air defense systems and Eurofighter fighters.
Recall that a rocket fell on the territory of Poland on November 15. Two people died as a result of the incident.
