The Russian Defense Ministry has revealed the details of how an attempt by Ukrainian saboteurs to penetrate into the Bryansk region was prevented. By data departments, in total, “more than 15 militants” participated in the sabotage. The incident took place around 8:30 Moscow time, according to the Ministry of Defense.

“During the clash, the enemy was defeated by artillery fire from the Western Military District. The sabotage group was dispersed and, having suffered losses, retreated to the territory of Ukraine. There are no losses among Russian servicemen,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Today, April 6, Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz declared about an attempt to infiltrate a group of 20 Ukrainian saboteurs into the territory of the region. According to him, the incident occurred near the village of Sluchevsk, which is located 1 km from the border with Ukraine. Later today, the Telegram channel of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDC), which is said to be participating in hostilities on the side of Ukraine, stated that the RFC “visited” the Bryansk region again.

On March 2, a group of saboteurs from the territory of Ukraine entered two villages in the Bryansk region – Sushany and Lyubechany. As a result, two people died and two were injured. RDK also claimed responsibility for the incident.
