The losses of the armed forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction exceeded 575 people over the past day, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reports in its daily report on the progress of the special operation.

“The total losses of the enemy in this direction amounted to more than 575 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries, two tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, two armored combat vehicles, twelve vehicles, two Akatsia and Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mounts, one D-30 howitzer , as well as two US-made AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radars, ”the message says.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy lost more than 70 servicemen and several pieces of military equipment, including five armored combat vehicles, in a day, in the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 85 people. In addition, a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter was shot down by Russian air defense systems.

The department also said that on April 28, the Russian Armed Forces launched a missile strike at the location of the command staff of the Kherson united group of troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and that the purpose of the strike was achieved.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine has been going on since February 24.
