The Ministry of Defense spoke about the destruction of equipment and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Ka-52 and Mi-35 helicopters in difficult weather conditions
A group of three helicopters from the Army Aviation of the VSK of the Russian Federation launched a missile strike on enemy manpower and armored vehicles in the Krasnoliman direction. The Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about this.
The department clarified that the strike was carried out by unguided S-8 aircraft missiles in difficult weather conditions from the closest possible distance. “According to the report of the forward air gunner, all targets were successfully hit,” the Ministry of Defense clarified.
The department recalled that the strike group consists of the M-35 transport and combat helicopter, the Ka-52 reconnaissance and attack helicopter and the multi-purpose Mi-8. She is also accompanied by specialists from the search and rescue group and the fire support group.
The Ministry also noted that after the strike, using the airborne defense system, the crews performed an anti-missile maneuver and successfully returned to base.
