Ministry of Defense: Airborne Forces from machine guns destroyed the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine west of Artemovsk

According to information received from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the military personnel of the Airborne Forces (VDV) successfully coped with the advancing fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) west of Artemovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). According to TASS, the coordinates of the enemy were obtained from unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to the report, the crews of unmanned aircraft and the Airborne Forces detected the movement of several groups of Ukrainian infantry to the positions of Russian units. The paratroopers allowed the enemy to pass a certain line and exit the forest zone into open space, after which they destroyed the advancing enemy fighters with massive fire from heavy machine guns.
The remaining fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were scattered by small arms fire from the paratroopers. In addition, Ukrainian attack drones were destroyed with the help of the Verba anti-aircraft missile system.
