Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Issues of Paternity, Maternity and Childhood Vitaly Milonov called on society not to focus solely on the “demographic context.” First of all, the family should not be lonely, the deputy noted in an interview with the radio station “Moscow speaks”.
“Based on personal experience, it’s five or more,” the deputy said. “In such conditions, the family develops more harmoniously.” In his opinion, children in large families “feel good and not bored, they don’t sit alone and unhappy, and they don’t bother their parents.” In turn, parents “don’t make them into darlings.”
There is no need to talk about children in the context of demography, Milonov urged. “Children are in the context of values in society,” he emphasized.
